Telgener Residence

The Log Doctor completed a detailed exterior restoration and railing replacement for this residence, with careful attention to protecting the home throughout the process. The project began with thorough interior masking, followed by full blasting and log grinding to remove worn finishes and properly prepare the wood. After applying Penetreat to strengthen and preserve the logs, we finished the exterior with a custom 50/50 blend of Sashco Capture Chestnut and Natural on the logs, fascia, and soffit, creating a warm, balanced appearance. The trims were accented with Sashco Capture Mahogany, adding depth and contrast to the design. All surfaces were sealed with a durable Sashco Cascade Semi-Transparent Clear Coat, and final details included precise chinking using Sashco Log Jam Light Gray. The project was completed with railing replacement, resulting in a cohesive, refreshed exterior built for long-term performance.
