The Log Doctor completed a full exterior restoration and railing replacement for this residence, carefully protecting the home throughout every phase of the project. Work began with detailed interior masking, followed by complete blasting and log grinding to remove aging finishes and properly prepare the wood. After applying Penetreat to strengthen and preserve the logs, the exterior was finished with Sashco Capture Bronze Pine on the logs and trims, delivering rich color and enhanced grain definition. The soffit and fascia were finished in Dark Brown to create a balanced, cohesive appearance. Final details included precise chinking and caulking using Sashco Log Jam Buff, ensuring a clean, weather-tight seal and long-term durability. The completed restoration provides both renewed beauty and dependable protection against the elements.
