Porrey Residence

The Log Doctor completed a comprehensive exterior restoration for this residence, renewing the home’s logs, trim, railings, and deck for a fresh, long-lasting finish. The project began with full blasting and grinding to remove aging coatings, followed by an application of Penetreat to strengthen and preserve the wood. We finished the logs with Sashco Capture Hazelnut and used Sashco Capture Chestnut on the trims, all sealed with a durable Sashco Cascade Semi-Gloss Clear Coat for enhanced UV and weather protection. Detailed chinking and caulking were completed using Sashco Log Jam Buff and Sashco Conceal Brown Tone to ensure a tight, weatherproof seal. The project also included replacing the railings and finishing the deck with Flood Butternut, creating a cohesive, refreshed exterior built to withstand the Colorado climate.
