Durling Residence

The Log Doctor completed a full exterior restoration for this residence, including both log restoration and matching the garage exterior to the home for a cohesive finish. The project began with cutting off damaged log ends, followed by complete blasting, grinding, and Penetreat application to prepare and protect the wood. We finished the logs with Sashco Capture Natural stain and sealed them with a Sashco Cascade Semi-Gloss Clear Coat for long-lasting UV and weather resistance. The trims, soffit, and posts were refinished in Flood Tricorn Black, adding bold contrast and modern definition to the home’s exterior. Detailed Sashco Log Jam Tan chinking provided a clean, traditional look while ensuring a fully sealed and weather-tight structure. To complete the project, we painted the garage to match the restored home, creating a unified, polished appearance across the property.
