The Log Doctor completed a comprehensive exterior restoration for this residence, renewing and protecting every major surface of the home. The project began with full blasting and grinding to remove aging finishes, followed by the application of Penetreat to strengthen and preserve the logs. We finished the primary structure with Sashco Capture Hazelnut on the logs and Sashco Capture Chestnut on the trims, fascia, and soffit, all sealed with a durable Sashco Cascade Semi-Gloss Clear Coat. Detailed caulking ensured a weather-tight finish throughout the log walls and corners. The restoration continued with accent refinishing using Flood Custom Green for the door and windows, ProLux Cedar for the railing, and Messmer’s Cedar for the deck. The result is a warm, cohesive exterior with long-lasting protection and refreshed curb appeal.
