Long Residence

The Log Doctor completed a full restoration and log replacement project for this residence, addressing both structural and aesthetic needs. Our team began by removing and replacing sections of rotted logs to restore integrity and ensure long-term durability. The exterior was then fully blasted, ground, and treated with Penetreat to protect the wood against future decay. We finished the home with Sashco Cascade Gunstock Brown on the logs, beams, trims, and deck fascia, paired with a Sashco Cascade Semi-Gloss Clear Coat for enhanced UV and weather protection. The soffit, fascia, and posts were accented in Sashco Cascade Red Cedar, creating a warm, balanced color contrast. To complete the restoration, we applied Sashco Conceal Weathered Gray caulking between all logs and log corners, delivering a clean, sealed, and long-lasting finish.
