Grand Lake Residence

The Log Doctor completed a full log restoration on this Grand Lake residence, giving the home a renewed, protected finish built to withstand Colorado’s mountain climate. The project began with complete blasting and grinding to remove aging coatings and prepare the logs for long-term preservation. We then applied Penetreat, followed by Sashco Capture Hazelnut on the logs and trims, sealed with a Sashco Cascade Semi-Gloss Clear Coat for enhanced durability. The fascia and soffit were finished in a rich Autumn Brown, adding contrast and warm color depth. To complete the restoration, our crew installed Mortar White Sashco Log Jam chinking, creating a clean, traditional look while ensuring a weather-tight seal throughout the home.
